Playground creates new content campaign for Microsoft Denmark

Microsoft has launched a new campaign targeting generation Y and SMB companies. The campaign is built around a video universe documenting the lives of action sport athletes, who have created a business through their passion.
Playground Activation and Playground Production has developed and produced the campaign.

Microsoft has worked with Playground to develop a content campaign with the purpose of branding Office 365 towards Danish start ups and SMB companies. The campaign will communicate the advantages of using one IT solution for business software, as opposed to a patchwork of different services and applications.

The campaign centers around 3 main films. In the first film, we follow the story of Playground CEO, Anders Bjørndahl. He went from 14 seasons as a skier in the alps to CEO of Playground Distribution with 35 employees in Scandinavia. The second film is about Nikolaj Vang, who is driven by a strong passion for freeskiing. Nikolaj co-founded Playground with Anders and is responsible for the Packyard Concept Store store in Copenhagen among many other projects. In the third film, we hear the story about Denmark’s best surfer and Playground athlete Oliver Hartkopp. At an age of 16, he left his family and moved to Klitmøller to pursue a career as a pro surfer. Oliver is an example of a 1-man company, who has his office in his backpack, where ever he travels around the world.

The films are promoted on Microsoft’s digital and social channels, which lead viewers to a campaign site that unify all video content. The purpose of the campaign site is to create sales leads and increase awareness around the many possibilities offered in the Office 365 package.”

All the films are developed and produced by Playground Production. Managing Director, Kristian Ussing explains: ”We wanted to tell some non-traditional business stories, that were inspiring. We have done this by documenting some exciting persons, who live their passion.”
