Playground’s Rossignol ski rider, Casper Dyrbye, achieve record breaking results!

We would like to take a moment to congratulate our Rossignol brand ambassador and Danish world cup alpine ski racer, Casper Dyrbye. Casper recently returned to his home base after spending time racing his skis at a various selection of competitions in The Balkan countries, in Italy and participating at The World Cup Slalom in St. Moritz, Switzerland.

Casper is an extremely dedicated and skillful skier who Playground have been working together with in collaboration with Rossignol. Casper’s stamina and racing level has led to Danish record breaking results this season.

In the various ski competitions, Casper participated in in The Balkan countries, he achieved two great podium results in giant slalom. A 2nd place and a 3rd place. Well done!
In the days, up to The World Cup competitions, Casper raced four international FIS-races in Italy where he managed to step up on the podium three times with three third places. That has never been done by a Danish male skier before!

The many races and good results preheated Casper and made him ready to participate in The World Cup Slalom in St. Moritz. Only the best of the best get to participate in these races and with a strong and talented group of skiers the competition and level was obviously high. As the one and only Danish skier qualifying to the finals, Casper received the honorable National prize as best skier to represent Denmark at The World Cup. Casper passed through to the second race and ended up with an overall ranking as number 46 out of several hundreds of skiers.

All of Casper’s hard work, ambition and drive for results has led to these Danish record breaking results. Never to this day has a Danish professional male skier achieved podium results in slalom on FIS-level (FIS is short for Fédération Internationale de Ski). But now Casper Dyrbye has. Congratulations Casper! We are proud of you and happy to work together with you as brand ambassador for Rossignol.
