Rossignol is an icon of the past and a symbol of the future. The legacy of Rossignol reaches over 100 years back in time. It all began with French carpenter Abel Rossignol making a pair of wooden skis for himself in 1907. Today Rossignol is designing and manufacturing skis, bindings, skiing boots and technical equipment for cross-country skiing, alpine skiing and snowboarding.
Dedicated people who strive for perfection and understand what it takes to manage oneself on the mountain make all of Rossignols products.
Rossignol has always been recognised as one the top manufactures of skiing products. At the 1988 Winter Olympics Calgary, Canada, six out of 10 winners in the alpine competitions were racing on Rossignol skis. In both Albertville ’92 and Lillehammer ’94 the story was the same. At the latest Olympic winter games in Sochi, Russia, Rossignol athletes took a combined of no les than 27 medals.
In other words, Rossignol has always produced the best alpine skis, the best cross-country skis and the best equipment for all levels of skiers on and of the slopes.
Many enthusiastic skiers will remember models such as Olympic 41, Strato, ST Competition, Equipe 4S. Today the top models are named HERO, SOUL 7 and EXPERIENCE, and world-class athletes like Henrik Kristoffersen, Lara Gut, Martin Fourcade, Sam Favret and Xavier De La Rue are all doing their thing in and on the best of the best from Rossignol.
That’s why Rossignol has been rocking the ski world for over 100 years, and gladly does a hundred more.
