Playground is a leading distributor in The Nordics of quality gear for an active lifestyle, consumer electronics and premium fashionable street wear. From our headquarters in Copenhagen we work together with brands from all over the world like Rossignol, Douchebags, JBL by Harman, Goal Zero and KOMONO amongst others. We are expanding the business in the Nordic region on all verticals, especially CE, why we need a country sales manager to deal with our existing, as well as new, retail doors within CE in both Norway and Sweden.

What will your job be?

You are going to work with both major and minor existing retail doors within CE in both Norway and Sweden with the key accounts: Elkjöb, Power, NetOnNet, Eplehuset, DigitalIn, Clas Ohlson. A good and close relationship to these doors are part of the key to success for Playground, so it goes without saying, that it’s highly important that you know how to deal with big corporate chains as well as small and medium sized business owners. The task is to maintain a good relationship and the goal is to continuously drive and close major sell-through. You will be working with the internationally renowned brands JBL by Harman, Goal Zero, Friday Lock, Nanoleaf and Sengled of which the quality of your pitching sales to retailers is essential.

Your job will also contain the exiting element of building up new business opportunities and relations for Playground in both Norway and Sweden. We are always looking for new interesting and competent retail doors to deal with our brands, why it is important that you can seek out and hook new business partners.

Together with our helpful and ambitious team in Copenhagen you will coordinate and report results and concrete plans going forward. We have a weekly sales meeting on Skype where all sales representatives jointly report to Playgrounds CEO and business developer to keep everyone in line with the business progress, ups and downs.

Who are you?

You are a cheerful, result driven sales representative who has great experience with doing business within CE with a lot of different types of costumers. In the day-to-day business, you work as a self-propelled structural businessman or woman who seeks out new opportunities on behalf of Playground as well as maintain your strategic overview and current business. You always keep your colleagues in the loop and have great communicative skills to both customers and to Playground HQ.

We have a well-established network within retail throughout the Nordics which you will be responsible for maintaining, and contributing to, with your present network within the CE business.

From your previous jobs and present career, you have a confirmed list of high performance sales and management results preferably within the CE business. You might have a sales-, area- or country manager position as is. Now you are seeking new opportunities where you will be able to, to some extent, create your own business and customer flow and portfolio. All with high self-involvement and with great responsibility for developing and maintaining sales to some of the biggest retail chains in the Nordic region.

Your qualifications and skills

Languages:

  • Swedish or Norwegian – Native
  • English – Written / Oral
